I wish we could have General Conference every quarter instead of every 6 months! I LOVE hearing from our Prophet and the Apostles and hearing their counsel. It is very re-assuring in these troubling times and we all need a little boost these days!
I have especially loved hearing from Pres. Uchtdorf. He has basically been "through it all" including the worst of times and frightening experiences. (escaping war, hunger, poverty etc). He is so motivating to me as he explains in a gentle yet direct and Christ-like way that we all need to buck up and get through life's challenges. That is the whole reason we are here on earth; to be tested with these hard trials. I was listening to him last night (TiVo'd) and immediately hopped on the stationary bike and rode 25 miles:) I also tackled my checkbook which I have conveniently put off for a month or two:). I am ready to face my two biggest obstacles (overall health and "better budgeting"). I am ready to face another week, taking one step at a time, staying "on target." Can't wait for April Conference now!

Conference was so great. We all leave it wanting to do better.
Ditto, to all! I LOVED conference, despite the reality to all the behind the talks...these ARE the final days of war! I loved every talk of every minute! Especially Elder Wirthlin...COME WHAT MAY AND BE HAPPY! Oh andme too on the jammies!
Annalee,
Way to go on the 25 miles! Look at you! I was much too lazy this conference weekend, and have drug it into the week with me! :)
No worries, I will get motivated again tomorrow!
All the talks were great, and I was especially in shock over the announcement of the Rome temple. How amazing!
Keep it up!

Way to go miss miles. We are definately getting on a better budget starting today, or tomorrow, or the next day....oh it's rough isn't it? You are too funny with the jams-it felt good to take a weekend off and just listen to what we needed to hear, didn't it. Love ya
I knew there was a reason you look so toned and hot.......cycling and spiritual fitness! You go, girl!
I also feel empowered after Pres Uchtdorf's messages. Talk about the ability to connect with his audience! They all were so great!
