Over the River and Through the Woods and Off the Edge We Go...

We have definitely gone off the blogging edge but plan on getting back in the game here! I don't want to bore you with what in the world could possibly be taking our time but it always seems to be something:).
The boys are so great to entertain themselves with sports and playing when my obligations seem to overflow!
Our final Healing Connections Champion Meeting with our trainer Lisa at UVRMC.
I miss my "Valley Girls" (name for all my friends at Utah Valley) but will never miss the drive down there:)
Mikelle got her braces in November!
Locking the wire into the brackets...
Dr. Arnold has been so great! Informative, efficient and professional!
So cute! Just 18 months to go!
Here's the good ole annual Halloween costume! My friend and I were laughing so hard that I am going on like 13 years with this thing! Hey-it's like one size fits all of my shapes through the years and it gets a lot of stares as you trek down the road with your kids trick-or-treating!

Mikelle had a blast trick-or-treating with her friends. Someone gave them each a 2-Liter bottle of soda! I am not sure if that was to be nice or to get the "older" kids to go home sooner:)
Kennedy's preschool Halloween party!
Helped with the class party.
Annual math night at the Elementary. We were ditched by the other kids as they were running from room to room trying to accomplish as many math games as they could. Each sticker could be redeemed for a scoop of ice cream on your sundae afterward in the cafeteria!
Steve always brings home flowers on Nov. 6th "from Carson" (our little baby with the fatal birth defect). Always so sweet but a somber day.
Mikelle with her friends after performing in their band's fall concert.
A multi band as well as multi school concert. Such great music-but hard bleacher seats!

Some of us die-hards on Halloween before our parade through the neighborhoods to get people out to vote the following Tuesday. There were a few people we thought would be great on City Council and one for Mayor!
All of the nights of stapling and delivering flyers as well as posting signs paid off as they were all elected!
Thanksgiving with the Dimond side celebrated at Dave & Judy's! So fun to see everyone (although I forgot about my camera until it was a little too late).
Caught Mom & Dad for a picture on their way out!
Helped provide most of the pictures from the year for the youths' year-end video! Lots of great times and memories of 2009!
We have awesome YM/YW! They keep me hopping and laughing!
We gave a shower to Alycia (YW Secretary/Camp Director) at Mignon's home to celebrate the upcoming birth of her baby boy!

So exciting!
YW in Excellence was so fantastic! Lacey choreographed a dance to one of Jenny Phillips songs about the theme for the year. These girls are so talented!
My advisers hate that I have a camera!:)
Refreshments afterward.
YW projects displayed.
When I read in the paper (a week before) that Davis High was in the 5A State Football Playoffs, I thought, now that is a blast from the past and me and the kids are so going...but I think it turned out to be too crazy of a day and cold/windy?? Anyway, I watched some of it on TV just for old times sake-remembering how my Mom used to lug the big thermos of hot chocolate for all of us and our friends and we would cheer on the Darts...so fun and sometimes so cold! Cameron saw me watching and said "Mom-let me get you something..." and comes back from a coat closet with my old cheer jacket. I put it on for good luck, but it was not meant to be! That darn Brighton!:)
Kennedy wanted to get her cheer garb on too and grabbed a costume from like 3 years ago:)
Such a cutie!
Nice moves-but we forgot bunkins or whatever we used to call the undie covers!
Mignon (YW 1st Counselor) is the queen of bling and crafts for YW. We got together before Christmas to put together necklaces to give to the girls for Christmas (The letter of their first name on one side and a classy pic of the temple on the other side). She did all the soldering of the metal around them! She is amazing!
We tried to "crank" on reading the Book of Mormon by the fire on the cold days for our YW virtue value project. We are slow but trying to get this done!
We were in charge of a food bank drive for one of our youth activities. We collected like 3,000 pounds of food that night!
Our ward and youth are the best!
More stamping and prep for the YW Christmas necklaces!
Thanksgiving morning at our ward turkey bowl! Thank goodness the younger boys played separately as some of the adult turkey bowls looked to dangerous!
Did laps around the track for an hour so we could eat more turkey that day!

It was COLD but FUN!
We then headed up to Jon & Cami's for Thanksgiving dinner! The cousins are so cute and sweet!
Dell & Lou-Lou
Tanner & Tracen
So yummy!

Our cute boys!
Me & Mikelle putting the finishing touches on our dessert entries for the contest. Contest later canceled to avoid competition problems:)

Jon & Cami did a great job hosting and they did a great job cooking the bird!

Jen & Ry

Mr. & Mrs. Hottie:)

US

Nate & Julie
Annis & Jeff

Mom! Dad;s picture was completely blurry so I will have to catch him at our next gathering!

Trying to decide!!
Mikelle braved the after Thanksgiving Day sales with her friends!

More goods!
Too late to taunt our "U" relatives...byu won the rivalry football game I believe!

Science Project!
She can tell you all about it:)

I love all the pictures. Each one tells such a story. You guys always have a ton going and seem to accomplish it all with ease. I know it is a lot to juggle 6 people's schedules, work, YW's, community stuff, kid's activities, etc. You da bomb Anna. You da bomb! :) (just had to get that DHS Anna shout out in there)
