Rain or shine, we have recently "a-DOPP-ted" tradition and joined my sister's family at Lagoon on Memorial Day. Most years so far have been on the "cool" side, but do you see anyone complaining? It has been so fun to meet with both families, enjoy the rides at the start of the season without the crowds, and create family memories! We did have to stall a little bit this year, waiting for the big downpour to let up, but in the mean time, we were able to see Jon & Cami's new home! Nice job guys on taking the plunge!! The kids had a blast trying out your basement & toys! Thanks for letting us stop by with only a moment's notice and with only a few days before delivering the new baby!!
Jennie had booked the traditional Yellow Terrace for us which is private and convenient. THANKS! Grandma Gus and Dopp never disappoint with the "treat-fest." The view and fresh air from the sky-ride (3rd pic) were incredible.
Some of the cute things that day were: the cousin traffic jam on the bumper cars, Kennedy having the "Scalliwags" ride all to herself for a few turns (4th pic), and seeing all of the cousins--especially the littlest of which are DARLIE & IZZTHIE! Thanks Gus's & Dopps for such a fun day!! We hope to have many more years of fun together!
