Final Game!

Christian's flag football team was undefeated (except for a tied game) going in to their last game. They were playing the team they tied for their final game.
Our 49 'ers were tough against the Browns, but the Browns pulled it out for the win.

It was starting to get cold (in fact I think it had rained or snowed that morning) but Christian insists that he is cold blooded and never needs pants or a coat/gloves! I will probably be bringing tissue to wipe his nose at the temple if he gets married in a cold month! He likes to be tough though and was glad that his team "dominated" until the very end!!

His coach turned out to be the husband of a girl I went to Elementary school with in Bountiful! What a small world. He was fantastic and gave the boys lots of great instruction on running the plays. It is a lot of work to add coaching to a Dad's busy life--so we appreciated him!

Although Christian was so disappointed they didn't "take State," he did a great job, learned a lot and is begging to do tackle football next year. I could see how much the game meant to him as he had a little tear in his eye when they lost. They really worked hard and wanted to win so bad! They gave little trophies out at the end. It was a really fun experience for all of us.

It looks like he had a lot of fun. I'm a whimp when it comes to cold weather. Maybe guys are tougher (:
