One of the best things about Steve's work is that the immediate families of the employees can come trick-or-treating there all day. We go right after the class parties finish at school and the kids have their bag 1/3 filled by 4:00 p.m. It is fun to see his co-workers once a year at least!
We also said a quick Hello to Grandma & Grandpa Gus since we were so close!
Our neighbor was adorable as a bag of jelly-beans!
More neighbors... ("siamese sp?" twin brothers--also in our ward)
For the first time in a decade, I had to work from 6-midnight. Nobody would cover that 1/2 of my shift of course and someone apparently had senority over me when I had asked for it off back on Jan. 1st! I was OK though as I have hit the pavement all of those years with the kids and decided one year off was OK! The kids still managed to rack in oodles of candy and weren't deprived by my short absense!
More district office trick-or-treating. We get to hit all of the cool "catacombs"...like the mailroom!
