I worked the night before Labor Day since Steve was going to be home the next day and we didn't have any big plans (except to take it easy for a day!) On Labor Day, Steve decided to take the kids to see the new Disney movie (Fly me to the moon?) Anywho-it turned out that the matinee was going to cost like $7-8 per person (they didn't tell you about the extra 3-D charge until you went to pay or something?) They all decided they would rather spend $25 on me instead of $40 at the movie! I was so touched when they brought me home a "Mamarat nurse build-a-bear" complete with the shoe covers like we wear on the C-section deliveries! They all had kissed a heart that was sewn up inside! Way sweet! Thanks guys! I love you too!
Mamarat with her birth certificate!
That night, Steve grilled steaks and steamed squash and zucchini sp? It was so yummy!
The boys have EAGLE eyes and can spot any creature! We had the "bug guy" here last week for our quarterly spray and we have had a few tarantulas "come around." I am impressed with the spray as they have all been dead! The boys can see things in the bark that completely blend in. It's like they have reverse color blindness or something! Christian feels he must put everything in a jar (bugs, praying mantis, etc.) I said it was not coming in the house. They ended up burying it in the yard. Hopefully that is it for the year on critters:) Can't every day be labor day, minus the spider?
Good thing flag football start soon for Christian!!

Oh man... does that bring back memories from Farmington or what? The boys must be related to mom, what with the "killing" jars and all. They will be all set when it's time for their 7th grade bug collections. Hopefully they'll have someone as cool as Mr. Mangleson.
the bear is so cute - quite thoughtful of the fam!
